Mulbarton Old Post Office c. 1907

Mulbarton is a village and civil parish located south of Norwich in the English county of Norfolk. ~Wikipedia

As can be seen the building remains but has been altered.  No sign of the windmill though, which according to the OS First Edition was a corn windmill. If you swing around on the Street View you will see the pond.

Kelly’s Directory of Norfolk 1900 shows us the Postmaster then was Frederick William Middleton. The 1911 Census shows his wife was Rosa Ellen and he describes himself as Sub-Postmaster & Postman.  He was 40 at this time and Rosa was 38 and she was ‘Assisting in the Post Office’.
