Swainsthorpe, Norfolk, Old Post Office, early 1900s

Swainsthorpe is a village in the English County of Norfolk in England. It lies on the A140 road, approximately 5 miles south of Norwich, and just north of Newton Flotman. The villages name means ‘Sveinn’s outlying farm/settlement’. ~Wikipedia.

Kelly’s 1900 Directory of Norfolk shows that Thomas James Andrews was the postmaster around this time.
