The postcard says this is the post office, I assume it is the long building. This is opposite the church. For the present day post office reverse up the road a little.

Hi Carole, I can’t help much but the sub-postmaster there is recorded in 1900 as one James Horn and again in the 1911 census. I’d imagine it is still older though. I wish you luck. You could try looking online for old OS maps, they often mark buildings, that may get you back further…
